How does online table booking work with OrdraFood?

Your restaurant gets a public booking page at /reservation/your-name. The customer picks a date, a time and a party size. The system checks your real capacity in real time and only shows available slots. Confirmation is instant, with an email sent to the customer and to the restaurant.

How much does the restaurant table reservation system cost?

Table reservations are a paid add-on at €8.99 excl. VAT/month, with unlimited bookings. No per-cover fee, no commission. You keep 100% of the customer relationship.

Do I need a paid plan to use table reservations?

No. The Reservations add-on can be activated on any plan, including the free Starter plan (€0/month). You only pay the add-on itself, €8.99 excl. VAT/month, with no commitment.

How is OrdraFood different from TheFork or ZenChef?

On TheFork you pay around €2 excl. VAT per booked cover (up to €4 on Premium). ZenChef starts at around €60/month. With OrdraFood, table booking is a flat add-on at €8.99 excl. VAT/month, with no per-cover commission and no competitor ads next to your listing. Bookings happen on your own URL.

Can I configure my opening hours and capacity?

Yes. You define total capacity (simultaneous covers), meal duration, opening hours per day (multiple time windows possible), minimum and maximum party size, minimum booking notice, and how far ahead customers can book (up to 60 days by default).

Does the customer receive a booking confirmation?

Yes. An instant confirmation email with the date, time, party size, the restaurant's address and phone number, and the cancellation policy. In parallel, you receive an email notification with the customer's contact details and any special requests.

Can I temporarily disable online reservations?

Yes. A simple switch in your settings takes your booking page offline during an exceptional closure, holidays or renovation work. You can also restrict the available hours for a specific day.

How do I activate table reservations?

Activate the Reservations add-on (€8.99 excl. VAT/month) from your subscription area. Then open the "Reservations" tab, go to "Settings" and flip the "Enable reservations" switch. Configure your hours and capacity, and your booking page is live.

Is there a free trial for the Reservations add-on?

No. The add-on is billed as soon as you activate it, with no trial period. On the other hand it has no commitment and can be cancelled in one click at any time: you only pay for the months the add-on is active.

Is the number of bookings limited?

No. The add-on includes unlimited reservations. Whether you receive 1 or 1,000 bookings in a month, the price is the same.

How does capacity management work?

You set a total capacity (e.g. 40 covers). The system tracks in real time how many covers are already booked on each slot (taking meal duration into account, e.g. 90 min). When a slot is full, it disappears for customers.

Can I add a manual reservation (phone booking)?

Yes. From your admin, click "Add": enter the customer's details and the booking is created, marked "confirmed" and "admin entry". It counts towards your capacity.

Can the customer cancel online?

For now, cancellations are handled by contacting the restaurant directly (phone or email shown in the confirmation). Self-service customer cancellation is planned in a future update.

Is there any commission?

No. €0 per cover, 0% of anything. You pay the Reservations add-on (€8.99 excl. VAT/month), and that is all.
